Taiwanese short ‘The Immeasurable’ is listed for the Iris Prize for the best international short film and will be screened this October!
‘The Immeasurable‘ is a twenty-four-minute short film and one of GagaOOLala’s originals that was released on October 22, 2021. The short film stars actors Rosen Tsai and Trent Chen as Xiang and Vic, respectively. It also features actress Chiung Hsuan Hsieh and is helmed by directors Nelson Yeh and Edward Liao. The story depicts Xiang, a university student, who meets Vic on a basketball court who helps him after an ankle injury. They form a connection and start dating, initially enjoying each other’s company. However, tension arises when their polarizing views are exposed.
Trent Chen shares on his Instagram the good news that his short film ‘The Immeasurable‘ is listed at this year’s Iris Prize Festival, a film and media organization committed to increasing audiences for LGBTQ+ stories. In addition, he expresses his honor and gratitude for working with an excellent team.
And lastly, the short film will be screened on October 12 at 6:30 PM (UK Time) in a local theater. It is also available for online screening from October 12 until 31st.
