W-Story Upcoming BL ‘Business as Usual’ Searching for Directors

From the same production of ‘To My Star’ and ‘Jun & Jun’, W-Story Production is now looking for a director for their newest project, ‘Business as Usual’.

‘Business as Usual’, also known as Eul’s Love/Romance, is an upcoming office-themed romance based on Moscareto’s webtoon of the same name, depicting the love story between ex-lovers Choi Jinhwan and Kim Minjun, who reunited in the same company after 10 years. The author, Moscareto, is also known for his work ‘The New Recruit’, adapted into a web drama in 2022, Punch Drunk Love, and more. The webtoon has been revealed to be getting its live adaptation in 2022, and finally, we got some updates about it.

Today, February 20, W-Story posted on X, formerly Twitter, that they are looking for directors to work on their newest BL project, ‘Business as Usual’. The production, also known as one of the pioneers in Korean BL that paved the genre to what it is today, produced ‘Where Your Eyes Linger’, ‘Mr. Heart’, ‘You Make Me Dance’, and ‘Cherry Blossoms After Winter’.

SYNOPSIS from Lezhin: Kim Minjun is your average 30-year-old office worker. Now that he’s older, Minjun is feeling the pressure to accomplish more in life, and he can’t shake the feeling that something is missing amidst the monotonous routine of his 9-to-5 job. Out of nowhere, his ex-boyfriend Jinhwan shows up as a new co-worker, looking as handsome and charismatic as ever while Minjun feels like he hasn’t progressed at all since their breakup 10 years ago. Determined not to let an ex from a decade ago mess with his work life, Minjun just wants to carry on with business as usual. But it seems that Jinhwan has other plans in mind…
