Episode 1.

The series opens with Choi Jun waking up and getting dressed for work. On the other hand, Lee Jun woke up late, and his alarm didn’t ring because his phone died. After dressing up, he received a text from his mom saying good luck for his first day of work. He is so excited because, finally, he is an official office worker. He went to a convenience store to buy some breakfast, and when he entered, the staff immediately sent a text to her friend saying she saw Lee Jun at the convenience store. He received a call from his friend at the office telling him to have breakfast before going to work. The convenience store staff and her friends seem to know that he is from an idol group. His friend told him that there was an accident on Line 2, so he must avoid commuting on the subway and shouldn’t be late.

To avoid being late, Lee Jun decided to ride in a taxi to work. He asked the girl next to her if he could ride in the taxi first because he couldn’t be late for work. But the woman refused and called him crazy. A car stopped in front of them, and the driver was Choi Jun. It seems that the latter knows the woman and offered her a ride. Desperate Lee Jun rushed into the car and asked if he could ride with them since they were also going to Gangnam and he really had to rush for work. The woman refused, but Choi Jun says that work is important and it seems he’s really in a rush, so he will give him a ride. And because of that, he thinks of him as an angel, or maybe a deity. Choi Jun noticed that he keeps on looking inside his car, so he asks if he was looking for something, but the latter says that his car looks nice and he just got carried away.

The woman in the passenger seat gets annoyed with Lee Jun. She says that he should just sit quietly and stay calm. She also asked him why he was so curious and sniffing around like that. The woman says she’s irritated with him. Lee Jun picks up a piece of paper and sniffs it. The latter notices it and says that the paper smells like a flower. He agreed and said that it smells like lavender. Choi Jun told him that it was a wedding invitation he had received earlier. Lee Jun’s presence was still upsetting the woman, but Choi Jun persisted in talking to him. He told him that lavender’s fragrance has a soothing effect on stress and tension. Lee Jun told him that he also likes lavender fragrance because it helps him reduce stress. The woman noticed that they were so comfortable talking to each other. It’s like they’ve known each other for ages. Choi Jun asks her if she knows him and why she is so disrespectful to him, and the latter says that he looks familiar, but Lee Joon says that he never met her.

Choi Jun suddenly told him that it might not be the first time they met. But it seems that Lee Jun avoided what he said and told him that they were almost in his office. The latter says that they are also getting off around that area, and they have some time so he can drop him off first. Lee Jun felt happy, then pointed out the building where he should drop him off. Choi Jun says that he was also heading in that direction and told the woman that she had to walk a bit that day. The woman refused at first, saying that she was wearing heels, but he says that he has slippers in his car that she can wear and that they fit her size. They arrived at the parking lot, and Lee Jun thanked him. He says that he won’t let it slide and that he must show his gratitude. Choi Jun says that it’s fine, but the latter insisted, and as a sign of gratitude, he wrote his number on the milk that he bought at the convenience store and gave it to him. He told him that he didn’t have a business card yet, and the latter happily accepted it.

After saying their goodbyes, Lee Jun went to the office but slips. Choi Jun catches him, and he immediately notices a familiar scent. The two ran again into each other once more at the office as they waited for the elevator. Lee Jun gets a call from his friend once more, this time advising him not to be late to avoid making a poor first impression. As the door opened, Choi Jun went inside, but nobody dared ride the elevator with him. So he told him that he should join him or he would be late. Inside the elevator, Lee Jun thanked him all over again while he asked about his friend. He says that he was there for him through thick and thin, and he was like a sibling to him. They arrived on the same floor, and Choi Jun told him that he would show him how to arrive earlier than the office manager. When they arrived at the office, everybody greeted them, and Lee Jun was shocked when the latter told him that he had arrived earlier than the manager.

His friend gave him a briefing about his new work in the office. He also told him that their manager used to work at their US branch and was recently appointed as their branch manager. He told him that his arrival had actually brightened their team’s atmosphere. His friend also asks him how he got to the office, and he says that he planned to take a taxi. Before he continues explaining, Choi Jun interrupts him and tells him to meet him in his office. He went to his office, and Choi Jun told him that he has a unique resume. He also told him to explain why he became interested in their products related to fragrances. He says that whenever there’s a conflict in his life, there has always been someone who gives him advice with fragrance. After hearing that, Choi Jun knew it was the Team Leader he was talking about. And finally, he asks him how he has been all this time. Lee Jun was shocked at his question and suddenly, he remembered him.

The episode ends with a flashback to their childhood. They were friends — and Choi Jun always protected Lee Jun from everything. They hugged each other, and the young Lee Jun didn’t forget the fragrant smell of the young Choi Jun.

The pilot episode gave us a glimpse of their first encounter after a long time. It seems that Choi Jun still remembers his childhood friend, and Lee Jun didn’t forget this friend’s fragrant smell. Will their childhood friendship bloom into a love story as they become colleagues? Stay tuned for episode 2 next Thursday at 5 PM GMT+8 on GagaOOLala!
