Everything Now

A new exclusive clip for Netflix’s upcoming queer teen drama ‘Everything Now’ has dropped Thursday, October 5, starring Australian actor Sophie Wilde.

Trigger warning: mentions of eating disorders

‘Everything Now’ explores eating disorders among queer teens specifically 16-year-old Mia, played by Wilde, who returns home after a lengthy recovery from an eating disorder.

In the 44-second teaser for the new show titled “Date Panic,” Mia takes a plunge into the dating pool by scoring a date with “the hottest guy in school”, Theo (played by Robert Akodoto). Her best buddies Becca (played by Lauryn Ajufo), Cameron (played by Harry Cadby), and Will (played by Noah Thomas) start gassing her up and hyping her for the experience, saying that this date is going to be her “salvation” and that she is “not going to be the anorexic girl anymore.”

An official synopsis for ‘Everything Now’ wrote: “Along with an ever-evolving bucket list, three best mates and a major new crush, Mia throws herself headfirst into a world of dating, parties and first kisses, soon discovering that not everything in life can be planned for.”

British legendary actor Stephen Fry who was seen recently in Amazon Prime’s hit gay rom-com ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ also appears as Mia’s doctor.
