On a Weibo post, a simultaneous casting audition for multiple BL drama projects has been announced, along with familiar names on the cast panel.

Collaboration projects between China (including mainland China, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan) and Thailand are coming, as they announced the simultaneous casting auditions for their multiple BL projects: ‘I Love/Kill You’, ‘Project S’, and ‘Universad’, which have been started until next month and whoever passed will be informed through their respective emails. ‘Kiseki: Dear to Me’ screenwriter Anita Sung, Chai Ji Dan of Addicted, One in a Hundred, and ‘Stay with Me‘, and neurosurgeon/writer Patrick Rangsimant of ‘My Ride’ are going to be part of the casting panel and will helm the following BL as screenwriters.

‘I Love/Kill You’ is a psycho thriller BL based on Patrick’s novel of the same which the original author and Chai Ji Dan serve as the screenwriters, a cross-border collaboration between two writers from China and Thailand. The drama depicts the story of two young men, Phu and Krit, who meet by mistake at a psychiatric facility, decide to start a relationship, and quickly become renowned on social media, only to kill each other a few months later. Doctor Nin, their psychiatrist, had to be involved in this study. While exploring their social media profiles, he discovered a terrible truth that led Phu and Krit to a tragic conclusion. This project is under the direction of Tanwarin Sukkhapisit (Golf), best known for ‘The Eclipse’ and ‘609 Bedtime Story’.

Meanwhile, for ‘Project S’, the selected Thai actors will fly to Taiwan to film this project and is helmed by Anita Sung, as its screenwriter. There’s no further information has been revealed yet regarding this drama.

Lastly, ‘Universad‘ is a neuro-fantasy romance set in a culinary-science school and based on Patrick’s novel of the same name. The drama follows Pipe, a culinary science student, who finds happiness after confessing his love to a boy named Newt. However, his happiness is short-lived when Newt disappears, replaced by a mysterious boy. Pipe searches for Newt’s accounts on social media, but finds them erased. To regain his love, Pipe must uncover the true identity of the mysterious man who replaced Newt, as no one remembers the old Newt. This will also be a collaboration with the author and well-known screenwriter from China.
