A young, aspiring doctor and a mafia member fall in love with the adaptation of the same-named novel ‘Kiseki: Dear to Me‘. Can their love be saved by a miracle?
The story depicts Zong Yi, a medical student who aims to become a doctor, and Jhe Ruei, a mafia member, who has been in love for a very long time, but a gang battle ends it. The fallout from this altercation affects Chen Yi, who holds himself responsible, and Ai Di, who has love for Chen Yi, resulting in the separation of the two of them as well. When the four people reunite four years later, they must deal with their previous regrets and mistakes to find happiness again.

Episode 1.
The episode opens with Zong Yi and Ai Di getting out of jail. A moment later, Chen Yin came to pick up Ai Di, and when he was left alone, he opened his notebook and saw a picture of him and Jhe Ruei. He tossed a coin, and he remembered their past. In the flashback of their past, Zong Yi is trying to pick up a coin when suddenly, a wounded man holds his hand. He brought the man home and treated his wounds. He asked for his name, but he didn’t answer and continued nursing him instead. He was blackmailed by Jhe Ruei into putting the knife on his hand so he could take care of him. Before he leaves, he tells Jhe Ruei not to snoop around. And the latter gets shocked when he locks him inside the house.
Jhe Ruei’s friends were angry at the other members of their gang for leaving him in danger. So they ask them to find him before Zhang Teng finds him. On the other hand, Zong Yi is working in a restaurant, and he overhears a conversation between two men about a woman whom he thought she loved, but she just stole his stuff. After work, he rushed home, and he was shocked to see Jhe Ruei behind his back. He told him he knew how to pick a lock, but he didn’t mind. Instead, he checks all his stuff to see if the man stole something from him. He told him to leave his house because he knew he was a gangster. That’s why he got beaten up badly, and now he needs to hide.
Jhe Ruei pushed him against the wall and told him that he just needed to stay there for a few days and he would repay him. Zong Yi told him to beg, and he sarcastically begged him. The next day, Zong Yi and his friend sell some review notes to the other students in school. His friends noticed that he looked sad, so they asked him what was wrong. He confessed to them that he bumped into someone who was like a pet. And he remembers Jhe Ruei’s demanding attitude towards him. And when he tries to find the knife that he’s always using to blackmail him, the latter says that, just like him, he always carries important stuff with him.
At home, Jhe Ruei is looking at some of his stuff, and he finds out that Zong Yi’s family has high hopes for him. He suddenly remembers what his mom told him, so his grandfather would like them. He received a call from Chen Yi asking his whereabouts, and he told him that he was hiding in a safe place. He dropped the call when he heard Ai Di’s voice. They found Zang Teng and his men in an underground gambling house. At home, Jhe Ruei asks him to help him get dressed, and they get awkward when he unintentionally touches his chest. That night, Jhe Ruei saw him struggling with his mathematics homework, so the latter asked him for help, and he would buy him a strawberry cake in exchange. The episode ends with Zang Teng killing a man and asking his men to look for the man who helped Chen Yi find their turfs so he can thank him personally.
