Star Hunter Announces Casting Call For TV Adaptations of BL and GL Novels

Star Hunter Entertainment just announced a casting call for series adaptations of BL and GL novels.

The Bangkok-based production company announced the casting call for three new queer series on August 26, Monday. The three novels receiving a TV adaptation are ‘Time Zone’, ‘Sky and Heaven’, and ‘Khom Klang.’

Taohuu’s novel ‘Time Zone เขตรักอันตราย’ follows Time, a junior from the lowest-ranking class, who meets Zone, the top-class student council president. Time gets caught skipping classes, misses his chance to make amends, and ends up in the principal’s office. What starts as a grudge turns into playful teasing, leading to an unexpected kiss between the two. Their relationship deepens as it extends into college.

Middle97’s novel ‘Fakfah Napalai ฟากฟ้านภาลัย’ also known as ‘Sky and Heaven’ follows the story of twins, Fakfah and Napalai. Fakfah, the more handsome and successful older twin, is the opposite of his more ordinary and dimwitted younger brother, Napalai. Despite constant comparisons, the twins love each other deeply. One day, Napalai’s peaceful life drastically changes when he is tricked into attending a dinner with a famous young businessman. During the dinner, a drunken moment where he acts like a cute cat leads to unexpected consequences, and now Kinn, the businessman, refuses to let him go!

A synopsis of Luxurious’ GL novel ‘Khom Klang ข่มขลัง’ reads, “Seargent Pheem embarks on a journey seeking help from “Mae Khru Bulan”, a young woman who inherited the sacred tattooing and white magic from her ancestors. However, instead of aiding the ceremony, she lacks the belief in the very practice she upholds.”
