Jes Jespipat Under Fire For “Homophobia” Following Confession Of Drinking Before Filming Sex Scene

Jes Jespipat has opened up a debate after confessing to getting drunk before filming his explicit scene for the BL series, ‘4Minutes’.

4Minutes is a Be On Cloud BL drama starring Jes Jespipat Tilapornputt and Bible Wichapas Sumettikul which follows the story of a resident surgeon and a university student who gains the supernatural power to see four minutes into the future.

The series instantly became popular due to its spicy scenes with its “sultrier version” (uncensored version) featuring lots of skin exposure from its lead actors.

On September 4, Wednesday, during the reaction video for the sixth episode of the series, Jes confessed that he was “very drunk” before filming his rated scenes.

Due to his confession, fans debated if his admittance was “homophobic” or not with one X user saying that “doing a scene where you’re at your most vulnerable and your co-actor is drunk… that’s definitely not helpful and definitely isn’t nice to hear.”

Some queer fans also stated that his confession made them feel “uncomfortable” and that this behavior should not be “normalized”.

Many, however, were quick to come to Jes’ defense including his co-star, Bible, who said that he too drank alcohol before his first NC (not for children) scene, explaining that it was to calm his nerves.

Bible added, “First time is difficult for everyone, for me a little wine helped and now I can do NC scenes without alcohol. As long as you aren’t abusing it or relying on it.”

Fans also pointed out that Jes is not the first actor to turn to alcohol before filming explicit scenes, citing Jennifer Lawrence, Margot Robbie, and Sam Lin, among others. Furthermore, many called attention to Jes being an LGBTQ+ ally since his university days, lest people forget about it.

You can watch ‘4Minutes’on GagaOOLala (sultrier version) except in Japan, South Korea, and Thailand.
