After their disastrous encounter in the previous episode, Jhe Reui and Zong Yi become good friends while living together, and one morning, Jhe Reui kisses Zong Yi. Episode 3.
Because of what happened at the previous time, Zong Yi was disturbed by their kiss that morning and was unable to concentrate on his work. Jhe Ruei was troubled by it as well, so he called Ai Di to ask for advice, but he was busy with Chen Yi searching for Zang Teng. He was advised by Chen Yi not to arrive until they had located Zang Teng. Before he leaves for school the following day, Jhe Ruei approaches him. He told him that, in light of what transpired, he had seen enough of his resentment and sarcasm. He doesn’t care about him and tries to go, but he stops him and challenges him to a fight. He punched him in the face aggressively, but Jhe Reui didn’t respond.
Jhe Reui responds that he was correct and that not everyone can be casual when the man questions why he didn’t dodge back. He also shouldn’t have doubted his commitment to a relationship. He consented when Zong Yi threatened to strike him in the body, and instead of fighting, the two ended up joking with one another. After a friend at school complimented Zong Yi on his great math notes, he promised to ask his grandmother to prepare some delectable meals for him. When Jhe Ruei came to mind, he instructed him to ask his grandmother to make a strawberry cake.
Chen Yi and Ai Di were called to the headquarters by Chen’s dad. While waiting at the jacuzzi, a man pushed them onto the jacuzzi. The man with a lion tattoo on his chest says they should call him Dad. The two were shocked when the man soaked his body in the water when, suddenly, their dad came in. They were scolded about Zang Teng, and he told them that he was a member of the Dragon Gang, and they were about to make a deal with them. When Chen Yi says he has a plan, the latter says his plans killed seven of their men, injured another thirteen, and made them lose Jhe Ruei too.
Another two men came in and joined them in the jacuzzi. Their boss asks them to have lunch together, and when the old man tries to walk away, their boss stops him and says he is included. All of them went silent after that.
After lunch, Ai Di teased Chen Yi to stay at the headquarters. Meanwhile, Shuo was hesitant about whether they could trust them to deal with Zhan Teng. Their boss scolded Xian for being silly and hot-tempered because that was the reason he got hacked and had a big scar on his stomach. When he pulled up his shirt, Shuo stopped him and said that he would take care of him, and the two went away. Minglei says that after Chen Yi alerted the Dragon Gang, his plans went all in vain. Their boss holds his hands and assures him that he believes in him. The next day, Jhe Ruei was looking at some of his books when Ai Di suddenly called him and asked him to come back. When he said it was too soon, the latter asked him if he had found his true love, and he suddenly thought of the happy moments he shared with Zong Yi.
