‘Semantic Error’ Director & Producer Respond To Rumors of Season 2

On November 8th, LineTV, in partnership with Taiwan Creative Content Agency (TAICCA), launched their new development project ‘Be Love, Go Love’ that focuses on producing more diverse boys’ love (BL) and girls’ love (GL) in Chinese-language original content.

Semantic Error’ director Kim Sujeong and producer Lee Haeun were invited to the press conference, where they shared how Semantic Error broke through the fierce competition in the South Korean film and entertainment industry.

During the interview, the two were asked about the progress of ‘Semantic Error’ season 2, to which they responded that it’s quite difficult to answer as it involves the actors, screenwriters, and production companies’ schedules. However, if the conditions were met and the discussion went smoothly, Thus, you can look forward to it. They also shared the casting process, where the director pointed out that the characters’ features and personalities were very detailed. She also added that casting has to find out who actors fit into the narrative, and the actors’ chemistry is also considered.

In addition, Wayne Song from ‘HIStory 3: Make Our Days Count’ and ‘Kiseki: Dear To Me‘, who was present at the event, revealed that he was an avid fan of the show and was asked about which South Korean actor he wanted to work with the most. He replied enthusiastically, “I really want to work with Park Jaechan (best known for his portrayal of Choo Sang Woo and member of the boy group DKZ)”. When the reporter told him that Jaechan would be having his solo fan meeting next month in the country, the actor couldn’t conceal his excitement and said he wanted to go!
