Episode 9: Let’s Separate and Love Again
Neil and Sea go on a much-awaited date together! The two enjoyed their time together, shared an ice cream, and at the end of the night, Neil walked Sea home and him on the forehead (what a true gentleman!)
The following day, Reese called a meeting with Neil and Sea and let them know that they will be performing at a huge New Year event. After learning that Orca and Reese made this happen, Neil says he refuses to do it, but with one small encouraging smile from Sea, he ended up agreeing to do it. But despite that encouraging smile, Sea is feeling extremely anxious with that huge event, seeing as his stage performance is still lacking.
Neil, on the other hand, just learned that his schedule is filled with self-improvement but does not contain any about band practice. He asked Reese about it, and Reese said that they have had a lot of band practice and it’s time for them to do things separately for the time being. Neil, sulking, grumbled about how he wants to meet his ~boyfriend~ at least once a day because he is not good with long-distance since it doesn’t give him a sense of security. Surprised, Reese asked him what that was about and the two ended up going on a cat and mouse chase.
The two finally sat down and Reese convinced Neil that it would be a bad idea to start a relationship just when things were just starting (again) in their careers. Neil knew it was right, but it doesn’t mean that he was happy about it.
Neil goes to Sea’s part-time job, bringing a snack, and the two talk. Neil tells Sea that they should take time off of each other until they have to perform, and Sea, the ever mature one, agreed. Sea says that they need to bring out the best of themselves before the event and that they should not have any distractions, not even messaging each other. Sea says, “let’s take a break for now.” This made Neil smile naughtily, saying that he finally admitted that they are indeed in a relationship, leading him to scream it out loud and Sea making him stop out of embarrassment.
The two, then, eventually do everything to bring the best out of themselves. Neil goes on a run everyday, but he makes sure to pass by Sea’s house anyway even if he can’t talk to him. Sea makes music and loses sleep. Good thing is, Sea has good friends in his xiao jie Ting Fei and Ah-Liang. Liang took Sea away from his house, fed him and gave him encouragement.
Meanwhile, Neil was ~coerced~ by his management to do a one-day tour in Kaohsiung. Neil did not want to do it, but in the end, he had fun making time for his fans and showing the beautiful city of Kaohsiung. Before they went to Pier 2, Neil gets a glimpse of Sea who was down the road and the two share a knowing smile together.
Sea, after seeing his boyfriend, suddenly gets an idea and runs towards his home to his keyboard.
