The upcoming Taiwanese movie with BL vibes ‘A Balloon’s Landing’ has just dropped a bunch of stills for its lead actors, Fandy Fan and Terrence Lau.

On March 20, Wednesday, its official Facebook account posted a series of photos, teasing fans about the nature and genre of the film.

The stills show the two handsome men performing various “no-homo” tricks such as intense wall banging, over-the-top beach bonding, and some non-romantic door-blocking, if you catch our drift.

The caption for the post also mentioned that the director ordered Fan to have the feeling of “making fun of his other half” to which Lao laughingly replied, “You are like Daomingsi, I am Shancai!” referencing the hit Taiwanese romance series, ‘Meteor Garden.’

‘A Balloon’s Landing’ also uploaded a new behind-the-scenes video showing Fan and Lau being sill with each other on set.

The movie is slated to premiere in Taiwan on May 10.

An official synopsis of the film states, “A Balloon’s Landing tells the story of a frustrated Hong Kong writer, Tian Yu (Terrance Lau) meets a Taipei street gangster, Xiang (Fandy Fan) and the two of them embark on a journey to find the Bay of Whales, a place that leads to paradise. Along the way, they discover unexpected twists and turns and close bonds, which brings out the message that there is always someone like you in this world who is waiting for you.”

Joining Fan and Lau in the cast are Chan Tzu Hsuan and Allison Lin.

‘A Balloon’s Landing’ is directed by Los Angeles-based Taiwanese filmmaker Angel Teng who directed the first season of the GagaOOLala GL ‘Fragrance of the First Flower.’

There is no explicit confirmation yet if the movie is BL but judging by the vibe of the stills, let’s just say fans patiently waiting for Fandy Fan’s comeback to the BL world are not going to be disappointed with the baiting.
