WATCH: Taiwanese Film With BL Feels ‘A Balloon’s Landing’ Drops Beautiful Trailer & Picturesque Stills

An official synopsis of the film states, “A Balloon’s Landing tells the story of a frustrated Hong Kong writer, Tian Yu (Terrance Lau) meets a Taipei street gangster, Xiang (Fandy Fan) and the two of them embark on a journey to find the Bay of Whales, a place that leads to paradise. Along the way, they discover unexpected twists and turns and close bonds, which brings out the message that there is always someone like you in this world who is waiting for you.”

Joining Fan and Lau in the cast are Chan Tzu Hsuan and Allison Lin.

‘A Balloon’s Landing’ is directed by Los Angeles-based Taiwanese filmmaker Angel Teng who directed the first season of the GagaOOLala GL ‘Fragrance of the First Flower.’ The second season of the show will also be helmed by Teng.

The movie is slated to premiere in Taiwan in the first half of 2024.

There is no further confirmation yet if the movie is BL or not but its Facebook page has been teasing fans eagerly waiting for Fandy Fan’s comeback to the BL world.
