Episode 6
Jhe Reui helped Zong Yi clean up after dinner. He felt excited when he saw a strawberry cake in the fridge, so he ate it with beer. He compliments the cake, and he is surprised when the latter tells him that he baked the cake. He felt excited after hearing that, so he advised him to bake more. Zong Yi says that he can do it, and the latter laughs before drinking his beer. Zong Yi wiped the icing on his lips before saying that he liked him. Shocked, Jhe Reui spilled the beer on his face and then walked away. He went to the pub, and Ai Di laughed at him when he told him what happened. He asks him what he will do after Zong Yi’s confession, and he says that he’s really confused because he can’t control his emotions for the first time. Ai Di laughs again, and they drink more that night.
The next day, Jhe Reui saw him at school. He tried to ignore him at first but decided to talk to him. They go to the gym, and before Zong Yi talks about what happened that night, Jhe Reui covers his mouth to stop him. He told him he just saw him as a brother, and he just tends to misunderstand admiration as love. Zong Yi felt disappointed, so he told him that if he couldn’t accept his love, they shouldn’t see each other again. After saying that, he remembers their happy memories together at his house. Jhe Ruei looks at him with sadness in his eyes when he says that they should pretend not to know each other so that he can forget his feelings.
At the headquarters, their boss told Jhe Reui that the Fan family wants him back. He says that since he committed no crimes, it’s not too late for him to quit now. He refused and told him that he wanted to stay so that he could fit in. Their other boss heard them talking, and he said that he wouldn’t fit in if he didn’t want to commit crimes and stay a good man. Chen Yi and Ai Di came in and joined them for dinner. Over the dinner, Dong Yang helped their master lessen the spiciness of his food. He told him that they should invest in that food if he liked it. Chen Yi feels uncomfortable about what’s happening in front of him, and Ai Di sees the jealousy in his eyes.
That night, while eating strawberry cake, Zong Yi remembered everything that happened between him and Jhe Reui. A moment later, he receives a call from his sister, and the latter notices the sadness in his voice. She assumed that someone dumped him, so she told their father immediately, and the old man talked to him. He felt at ease knowing he had a family to lean on. Chen Yi got drunk that night, so the two drove him home. Ai Di told Jhe Ruei that even though he’s older than them, they know more about their work, so he should call them ‘big brothers’. He feels offended, so he asks him what’s missing, and the latter says he’s not ready for a sudden death, and if he always wants to be alive, he can’t be one of them.
