Hirokuni collapses on the street one day from exhaustion and when he wakes up, for some reason, his childhood friend Kai is there.
Hirokuni, an overworked office employee struggling with insomnia, collapses from exhaustion on the street one day. Upon waking up, he finds Kai, a childhood friend from middle school, inexplicably present. Reuniting after 12 years, Kai reveals he has no place to stay and moves in with Hirokuni. The next day, Hirokuni returns home to find Kai preparing dinner, exclaiming, “It’s been a while since I’ve thought food tasted this good.” The two decide to live together under the condition of sharing the responsibility of cooking meals every day for each other.
