The next day, the Yamase and Sakuma were huddled together with Shirasaki, sharing a privately-taken photo of Asami with a girl. The two actors were talking about how Asami has a special someone that he has not gotten over with, and it could be that girl. Asami was dumbstruck and kept thinking about it until he was back home. He received a message from Asami asking if he wanted to go to his house. He thought he would be strong enough not to be with him because of he has a person he likes, but at the end of the day, he still agreed to go to his house.
The cast and crew held a dinner gathering together and with the slightly tipsy Shirasaki coming from the toilet, he overhears the conversation between Asami and Sakuma about the person he likes. Sakuma asked if he still likes that person, and Asami admits that he still does. Shirasaki was so overcome with shock and sadness that he sat down in the hallway with his head down, not joining the group anymore. As the cast and crew prepared to leave, Asami was looking for Shirasaki, however, Yamase told him that Shirasaki already left.
Shirasaki contemplated his feelings in the next few days.
And when they had a moment together during their filming, Shirasaki thanked him for all the help he gave him to be in character, but he thinks that he has finally understood his character’s feelings and it was time for them to stop their fake relationship. It was also then that Shirasaki put his walls up again and called him “Hayama” once again, surprising Asami. Shirasaki gets up to leave and thanked him once again, with Asami hot on his tail, but when Shirasaki closed the door, he felt that it was really the end.
Episode 7
Little Asami has a lot of things that happened to him. His mother was not well and has repeatedly told him about how he should not smile so big, repressing his true smile as he gets older.
And even when he entered college, he still had no idea what he wanted to do. When a friend of his (the guy in the gay bar!) asked him to join a film they were making, he agreed. He saw that he enjoyed making movies, finally realizing that this was something he could do. But in the end, everyone could only talk about his looks and not his talent in acting. It was also the only thing that everyone talked about during their feedback until Asami sees an essay written about his acting talent by none other than Shirasaki Yuki! It gave Asami a good feeling and was finally able to have a genuine smile.
Asami finally found out who Shirasaki Yuki was during their club’s activities, and Asami was taken by his talent and persistence as well. Since then, he couldn’t take his eyes off of him, even taking note of how he likes his coffee (with sugar and milk).
But as he was about to graduate, Asami gets scouted to be a model, to the surprise of no one. But Shirasaki voiced out his opinion, asking him out of the blue why he does not want to be an actor anymore, surprising Asami.
Back to the present, Asami remembers the first time he saw Shirasaki once again during their first read. He remembers feeling anxious, and even when he bought coffee, remembered which one he liked. And he also felt the same happiness he felt before, seeing that he hadn’t changed from the first time they met. He was walking alone when he received a message from his old college friend from the film club, saying that Shirasaki was at the club he was working at. He runs over there in a rush. It was then that Asami started personally seeking him, wishing that filming would never end because he doesn’t want to stop being boyfriends with him. He felt all of the things he had tried to cover up – all the feelings of happiness, jealousy, anger, and most of all, love.
Asami realized that he does not want to give Shirasaki away to anyone. And the person he likes and has never gotten over is actually Shirasaki.
How will things pan out in the next episodes now that Shirasaki has asked for the two of them to stop this fake relationship? Especially since the next scene they need to film is a sex scene?
