‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ is almost here!

“Red, White & Royal Blue” is an upcoming gay romantic comedy movie adaptation based on the New York Times best-selling novel of the same name by Casey McQuiston. The movie stars Taylor Zakhar Perez and Nicholas Galitzine as Alex and Henry, respectively, and centers on the son of the American President who sparks a feud with Britain’s prince.

On February 22, last year, the lead actors announced that the movie was officially in production.

And a couple of months later, Taylor and Nicolas posted on their IG accounts that filming had wrapped up in August.

It follows the star-crossed rivals-to-lovers story of Alex Claremont-Diaz, First Son of the President of the United States, and Henry, Prince of England and third in line to the throne. With highly public lives, the two try to navigate the challenges of self-discovery while keeping their romance a secret, especially when Alex’s mother, the first female President of the United States, is up for reelection.

The movie is set to premiere on August 11th on Prime Video.
