Little has been spilled for the release of the much-awaited gay rom-com novel-turned-movie ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’, but we could be seeing it soon this 2023!

Details about the film have been kept a rather tight secret that even an official release date hasn’t been revealed yet. Filming wrapped up in August 2022 with both leading actors Taylor Zakhar Perez (who plays Alex) and Nicholas Galitzine (who will play Henry), posting on their respective Instagram accounts final updates about the movie. With the filming officially ending in the summer of last year, it is speculated that ‘Red, White & Royal Blue’ could hit our screens as early as 2023!

Of course, this is just guesswork, and we’re not putting everyone’s hopes up (kinda), but it won’t hurt to look forward to seeing Alex and Henry’s love story!

‘Red, White & Royal Blue’, originally a 2019 novel by Casey McQuiston, follows the star-crossed rivals-to-lovers story of Alex Claremont-Diaz, First Son of the President of the United States, and Henry, Prince of England and third in line to the throne. With highly public lives, the two try to navigate the challenges of self-discovery while keeping their romance a secret, especially when Alex’s mother, the first female President of the United States, is up for reelection.
