In the past few weeks, we have had the pleasure of learning about the Korean dating show “Love Alarm Clap! Clap! Clap!”’s duo – Jasmine and White Rose.
Because of the ending of the dating show, Jasmine and White Rose (also known as the couple name “SminJangmi”) were accused of queerbaiting, but not as much as the audience who blamed the streaming service provider. But what is the real deal between Jasmine (real name: Jeong Seunghee) and White Rose (real name: Kim Hyo Eun)?

In the midst of the chaos, Jasmine and White Rose – together with our bisexual king, Tinkerbell (real name: Jun In Kyu) – were actually together during the airing of the dating show’s last episode!
And this was just one of the many times that they were together!
Multiple “dates”(?) together
We finally get a glimpse of Jasmine and White Rose hanging out even after the show, thanks to their multiple uploads on their Instagram accounts. From then, we learned that they have been hanging out most of the time in the past few months, even after the show officially ended!
They did an Instagram Live together!
On February 9th, both Jasmine and White Rose announced that they are going to do an Instagram Live together!
And on the day of the Instagram Live, they managed to talk about a lot of things, including how they still call each other using their Love Alarm Clap! Clap! Clap! nicknames instead of their real names. And because all of the people at the show never knew their ages at first, there was no seniority, thus White Rose never really called Jasmine “unnie” (T/N: what a younger female calls an older female).
Jasmine and White Rose answered some questions from the fans, including their ideal type in a person. White Rose said that she likes someone with who she can have fun while being together, while Jasmine said she likes someone who is charming. And although the two never really mentioned what their dating situation (or lack thereof) after the series, they did say that the members of the dating show got along very well.
