The official trailers offer a glimpse into the delicious life of Mitsuya and Ishida beginning on July 25!
‘Mitsuya-sensei no Keikakuteki na Ezuke’ (Mr. Mitsuya’s Planned Feeding), an adaptation from Matsumoto Ayaka’s manga of the same name follows newbie editor Tomoya Ishida, who is tasked with collecting a column from culinary researcher Ayumu Mitsuya after his senior is hospitalized. Surprised by Ayumu’s affable nature and Kyoto dialect, Tomoya is served a simple dish that entices him, leaving him eager for their next encounter.
The two trailers, although only having a few different scenes, evoke different feelings influenced by the music. In the trailers, we see the meeting between Mitsuya and Ishida, along with other characters who will play significant roles in fostering their relationship. At the end of the video, Ishida is confused by the growing feelings he has for Mitsuya. Food truly is the way to a person’s heart! The opening theme song “Frito,” composed and performed by Masayoshi Yamazaki (the actor playing Mitsuya), with its refreshing melody, adds a heartwarming and playful tone to the series. The title also pertains to the name of the dog that will be acting in the series.
