Queer Inclusive ‘Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Story’ Coming Soon! Ft. Star Studded Cast

Rumour has it that these stars are aboard this highly anticipated ‘Knives Out’ comeback!

The beloved and proudly gay Benoit Blanc (played by Daniel Craig) is gracing the screens one more time with the second sequel of the highly popular ‘Knives Out’ film first released in 2019. This time in “Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Story’, he will be accompanied by Josh O’Connor who has won the hearts (amongst other things) of the masses with ‘Challengers’, Cailee Spaeny also fresh from the critically acclaimed “Priscilla”, Andrew Scott of ‘All of Us Strangers, and ‘Sherlock’ (if you know you know!) Kerry Washington of ‘Scandal’, Glenn Close of ‘Dangerous Liaisons’, Jeremy Renner of ‘Avengers’, Mila Kunis of ‘Friends with Benefits’, and Daryl McCormack of ‘The Woman in the Wall”.

Craig, for the first inaugural film, notably shared the screen with Chris Pine and Ana De Darmas. The sequel titled ‘Glass Onion: A Knives Out Story’ starred Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, Edward Norton as well as other household names. If the third film follows this pattern then we are sure to hear more Hollywood A-listers being added to the already impressive cast very soon!

Creator Rian Johnson expressed his love for mystery and thrillers, stating that there is so much room for creativity because of the innate malleableness of the genre.

“There’s a whole tonal spectrum from Carr to Christie, and getting to explore that range is one of the most exciting things about making Benoit Blanc movies.”

Johnson will again write, direct, and produce the film as he did in the first two. He shared his excitement with a photo of the film’s title card over Instagram.

“The next Benoit Blanc mystery, the follow up to Glass Onion and Knives Out, is called Wake Up Dead Man. We’re about to go into production on it and I AM SLIGHTLY EXCITED”
