Unexpected Occurrences Take Place in ‘Kiseki: Dear To Me’ Episode 4

Zong Yi was left alone by Jhe Reui without a last farewell. After that, he felt alone, and even though Zong Yi was counting the days, he never imagined that he would see him again in a different light. Will he now actually continue to be in his life? Or will he depart without another farewell? Let’s find out in the fourth episode of ‘Kiseki: Dear to Me‘.

Episode 4.

Zong Yi is still upset that Jhe Reui left him without saying goodbye. He applied for a part-time position at the cafe, where he regularly purchases Jhe Reui’s favorite strawberry cake, to lessen his loneliness. To buy a birthday cake for Chen Yi and himself, Ai Di headed to that cafe. However, this is not their birthday. After both of their parents unexpectedly passed away, they recently made a vow to one another to celebrate their birthdays at the same time. Because of their previous argument, he was initially hesitant to buy, but Zong Yi’s assistance allowed him to get the most exquisite cake for them.

As Ai Di lit the cake’s candles, he waited for him. But when the latter arrived, he was on the phone with their boss, and he informed him that their boss wanted to celebrate their birthday. He claims to be busy, and Chen Yi leaves. He flung the cake aside out of frustration. Jhe Reui was waiting for him when he entered the pub. Jhe Reui questioned Ai Di about why he liked him so much because he was aware of his love for Chen Yi. He claims Chen Yi was there for him during his darkest moments and always looked out for him. He loves him so strongly that he would sacrifice his life for him. Jhe Reui laughs and tells him that he’s being exaggerated, but he says that some people are worth dying for, and he’ll realize it when he finds the one.

Winter break is over, and it’s time for Zong Yi to come back to school. His teacher was injured, so he was replaced by a substitute teacher. And he was surprised when their teacher introduced Jhe Reui as their new teacher. But everything is planned by Jhe Reui and the gang. They found out that Zang Teng was selling drugs to the students. The principal knows too, but he wants to protect the students and the school’s reputation, so he will cooperate with the gang and let them in for the investigation. Jhe Reui says that they need someone who can go unnoticed and approach students easily, like a teacher. His friends looked at him, and at that moment, he knew he was the one who fit the job.

Jhe Reui bumped into Zong Yi after class, and he told him that he should pretend that he didn’t know him. Confused, the latter asked him why he left him with money, and he said that it was a thank-you gift and he wanted him to stop working and focus on his studies. Jhe Reui feels guilty that he couldn’t tell him that the reason he’s doing it is because he wants to keep him safe. Zong Yi told him that from that moment on, he’s just a stranger to him, and he will never help him again. He walks away. That night, Ai Di is having a blast in a pub with his friends. They were playing a game, and when he started to kiss his friend’s stomach, Chen Yi grabbed him and brought him outside of the pub.

Ai Di reminded him that what he does is none of his business during their disagreement, but Chen Yi insisted that their friends and he always needed to defend him. However, the latter says that rather than worrying about him, he should concentrate on catching Zang Teng or go back to the headquarters to see his boss so that he can see his feelings. Because of what he said, Chen Yi felt angry and walked away. When his sister called to see how he was doing, Zong Yi was putting trash in the garbage can. Later, he caught sight of something close to the trash can. Jhe Reui, who is drunk, is holding his hands once more, just as when they first met.

He was once again carried home by Zong Yi. Jhe Reui noticed him in the kitchen, preparing food after taking a shower. After eating some of the congee, he started to giggle. The latter gave him a suspicious glance and claimed the taste to be disgusting. Later, Zong Yi returned the cash he had left for him and said that it was his change as they carried on their conversations. The latter maintains and claims he didn’t need it, despite Jhe Reui’s refusal to accept it back. As they handled the envelope, their fingers entwined.

After eating, Zong Hi told him to finish all the beers in his fridge since he couldn’t drink. Jhe Reui drinks beer while Zong Yi is studying, and he can’t help but stare at him. When Jhe Reui says that he should go, Zong Yi interrupts him and says there are five more beers left. When he stands up to get the beers, the latter stops him and asks him if he’s trying to make him stay. Zong Yi kept silent, and the latter pulled him over, resulting in him falling on his lap.

It appears that Zong Yi didn’t anticipate that Jhe Reui would be his teacher at their next, long-awaited meeting. Jhe Reui protects him and the group with his understanding of mathematics. Will Zong Yi allow him back into his life this time? Can Ai Di tell Chen Yi his feelings after their fierce argument? In the upcoming episodes of ‘Kiseki: Dear To Me,’ let’s find out.
