Wee-woo! Russell Tovey and Tom Blyth’s gay cop movie has officially wrapped up filming!
The Carmen Emmi-helmed film ‘Plainclothes’ is finally done with production as announced by the X account Film Updates, who shared a picture of the director with his two lead stars, Tovey and Blyth on set.

Inspired by true events, ‘Plainclothes’ is set in the 90s following a working-class undercover cop who was assigned to entrapping and apprehending members of the queer community. His world and beliefs turn upside-down, however, when he finds himself inexplicably drawn to one of his targets.
It is described by producers Arthur Landon and Colby Cote as “a heartfelt story that deals with internal conflict, family, and the complexities of sexual identity in the face of societal and personal expectations.”
