Pedro Pascal and Ethan Hawke’s gay Western film ‘Strange Way of Life’ will be hitting cinemas this fall as it is set for public release this fall.
‘Strange Way of Life’ is a queer Western short film with a run time of 31 minutes. It was directed by Pedro Almodovar and is the filmmaker’s “answer to Brokeback Mountain,” which he also directed. It had its world premiere on May 17 at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
While queer fans have been eagerly excited to watch it since then, the wait is soon coming to an end as the film will have its general public release in the US and UK.
According to Digital Spy, ‘Strange Way of Life’ will hit UK cinemas on September 25 for one night only. It will also have a Q&A session to be hosted by Anna Bogutskaya.
In the US, ‘Strange Way of Life’ will hit select cinemas in New York and Los Angeles on October 4, followed by a wider release two days later on October 6.
