The dance started fairly innocently until both of their hands began to wander. Their bodies slowly moved closer. Lips closing in on each other’s skin only to back away before contact was made. Their hands made their way to each other’s chests and before they knew it, their lips met. Then met again. And again. Suddenly they found themselves in Alex’s bed unclothed. As Theodore lay down on the bed, Alex pressed kisses, starting on the former’s face before heading downwards. In a rather intimate moment, the two interlocked their fingers, implying that there may be something more than the short-lived fire of lust between them. The two swapped positions and it was then Theodore’s turn to plant kisses all over Alex’s body. Alex was left gasping for air as his guest went down on him and as the exchange went on, Theodore positioned himself behind Alex and got ready for penetration. The intensity only rose from there with them having to grasp the mattress for stability before Theodore whispered in Alex’s ear that he was about to finish. The intense affair ended with a sincere moment of the pair cuddling in bed, Alex’s head resting on Theodore’s chest.
The next morning was quite romantic for the two men, despite only having met recently, with Theodore giving Alex good morning kisses in front of the mirror as the latter got ready for work. Their moment was cut short due to Alex running late, but a promise of dinner together was made between the two. When Theodore returned that night, he greeted Alex with a kiss before they talked about their days. Theodore’s legal work went smoothly, winning his client’s case, so it was decided that the two would go out to celebrate. Later that night, however, the mood turned quite melancholic with Alex expressing sorrow about it being Theodore’s last night in the city. He had quickly grown attached to his guests and had wished they could spend more time with each other. Theodore responded by saying he felt similarly and wished they lived in the same city to spend more time together. However, since it was their last night together, they decided to make the most of it instead of focusing on the goodbye they would soon face. Sealing the agreement with a kiss, the two continued walking through the city, determined to have a memorable night together.
When the two arrived back at Alex’s place, they spent the rest of their night together in the bathtub, wishing time would stand still, so Theodore wouldn’t have to leave for his flight in the morning. The next scene skips to the morning, when Alex awakens, finding the spot Theodore slept in empty. He got out of bed to find Theodore, but his searching only led him to a note in the kitchen from the man who gave him the last few days of color he had not seen in a long time. Theodore apologized for leaving without a proper farewell but assured Alex that he had a great time before again lamenting that the distance between them would make it difficult to further explore what had begun between them, leaving Alex devastated.
Sometime later, Alex found that Theodore left a glowing review of Alex’s place, to which we saw Aelx typing a response, though what he said in the response remains unknown. This leads to the two reconnecting over a phone call, as their exchange through the review comments made them long to talk to each other again. It was then that Theodore let Alex know that, while the distance complicated things between them, he thought what they had was something worth trying to pursue. He told Alex that he could head over to Paris for the weekend and offered to talk about a possible future together. Alex paused for a moment before giving Theodore an enthusiastic yes. The story then closes with Alex in the shower before Theodore joins him. They begin kissing as the credits roll.
With what almost looked like a tragic end to a fleeting encounter turning into something more, Alex and Theodore’s story is one that defied the odds.
