‘Heaven Official’s Blessing’ Donghua To Premiere October; Releases Chinese Valentine’s Day Poster

After what felt like 800 years, fans can now rejoice because Hua Cheng and Xie Lian are coming back for the donghua’s second season!

Following a technical issue that said that the ‘Heaven Official’s Blessing’ second season will be showing on August 22, the donghua’s official social media account announced that there is finally a specific month of when it will be shown! This is especially a welcome news to fans and viewers alike after the original Xie Lian VA became embroiled in legal issues unrelated to the series and was eventually re-casted after some time.

The donghua’s second season teases the Gambler’s Den and the Ghost City where Hua Cheng governs and resides in.

In addition to this good news, the official ‘Heaven Official’s Blessing’ social media accounts also released a poster of HuaLian to celebrate Chinese Valentine’s Day!

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: When Xie Lian was the Crown Prince of the Xian Le kingdom eight hundred years ago, he was adored by his subjects and the darling of the entire world. Unsurprisingly, at a very young age, he entered the Heavens. Eight hundred years later, Xie Lian makes his third ascent to the Heavens while being derided by all three kingdoms.
