‘Heaven Official’s Blessing’ Donghua Xie Lian VA to be Re-Casted

Following reports of the donghua version of Xie Lian’s voice actor, Jiang Guangtao’s arrest, it seems we might get another person to voice the scrap-collecting god!

‘Heaven Official Blessing’ announced on its official Weibo account that the previous voice actor, Jiang Guangtao, will not be able to come back for the second season for “personal reasons”. Instead, the new season’s Xie Lian will be voiced by voice actor Deng Youxi who wrote on his personal Weibo account that he promises to work hard for the donghua adaptation of this beloved story, originally created by Chinese novelist Mo Xiang Tong Xu.

‘Heaven Officials’ Blessing’ or most popularly known as ‘TGCF’ which is an acronym of its Chinese name ‘Tian Guan Ci Fu’ is about a scrap-collecting god, Xie Lian, who goes through heaven, earth, and other realms trying to help as much as he can and live a normal life collecting scraps. While on a journey, he meets San Lang, a boy he thinks is a lost rich boy who left his house on his own accord. But little does he know that San Lang is actually someone who will become a huge part of his life, and will become a constant companion in his ventures.

Season 1 of ‘Heaven Officials’ Blessing’ is available on Netflix, meanwhile, no other information about Season 2 is announced. Stay tuned to BLtai for more updates!
