Another novel from Patrick Rangsimant is getting a live adaptation!

‘Last Meal Universe: The Series’ is based on Patrick Rangsimant’s light novel “อาหารมื้อสุดท้ายก่อนโลกกลายเป็นทางด่วนอวกาศ”, with the English translation of “The Last Meal Before Our Worlds Turns to The Galaxy Expressway”, depicting the story of how the power of Thai homemade dishes and how it saved the world from destruction.

Thai singer-actors Napat Injaiuea (Gun), best known as the singer of ‘A Tale of Thousand Stars’ soundtrack, and Rueangrit Siriphanit (Ritz), who made cameo appearances in ‘After Sundown’, ‘Why RU?’, and ‘Love Mechanics’, are reportedly taking the lead roles alongside the pilot trailer! Thai fans have shipped the two singers since they performed together in a TV singing competition a decade ago!

SYNOPSIS provided by the author: Shun (旬) is a galactic civil engineer with a unique assignment: demolishing Earth to make way for a new intergalactic expressway. Naturally, earthlings had no clue about this impending doom. However, ChonDan, the proprietor of a charming Thai restaurant, enthralled Shun on his first day with the mouthwatering homemade Thai dishes he was serving. Shun secretly postponed his world-ending plan to enjoy more delectable meals with ChonDan. And set a new aim: if he ever grows tired of the flavors, he can return to his original mission. Generously, ChonDan unaware of Shun’s original mission, offered him a spare room in his apartment, making them dinner buddies and housemates. Their bond deepened with every meal they shared. When we think of superheroes, we often imagine beings with superpowers. But what if a regular guy and the straightforward flavors of Thai food saved our world?
