Episode 4

As it turns out, Chris remembers Foam from an encounter when they were still young, much to the latter’s disappointment, as he thought that the memory would be from the time they were dating. In a flashback, while out for Children’s Day, Christ got separated from his parents and older sister. The younger Foam met and cheered up the young Chris before he helped him find his parents. He introduces himself as Ta and manages to help Chris meet up with his parents once again. In the present, Foam asks Chris how he recognized it was him, but a phone call interrupts their conversation. Chris leaves the room to take the call, prompting Foam to follow him. Foam overhears Chris making a promise to meet up with the person on the other end of the phone. He asks and insists on coming along, but Chris refuses to agree and leaves him behind, using his motorcycle. Unknown to Chris, Foam secretly follows him where he meets up with two unknown men in an abandoned building.

The two men ask Chris aggressively what took him so long to come out and if he brought the thing they were asking for. Chris answers that he needs them to give him the password first before he gives his exchange. As Chris refuses to give what they are asking for, the two men start to beat him up and pull out a knife to leave a scar on his face when Foam arrives just in time to help Chris. To their surprise, the backup of the two men also arrives and tries to catch them. Chris and Foam end up in a brawl with them until one of the men pulls out another knife and tries to stab Chris. Foam manages to cover him and gets wounded instead. The two were able to escape, and Chris tended to Foam’s wounds while reminding him that he told him to stay at home. Foam responds that he just cares for Chris; hence, he follows him and asks him if he wouldn’t do the same for him. As he puts first aid on Foam, Chris tells him not to get hurt for him in the future, as he doesn’t want to see him hurt again. He also asks Piak for a day off to stay with Foam in the meantime. Later that day, Chris goes outside for a job but secretly meets up with the same woman she once gave a USB to.

On the other hand, Bew continues to pester and follow Park around even outside of work, expressing that he wants them to be friends even if Park is stubborn. Park receives an order from Piak for work outside the bar in favor of one of their guests and makes him bring Bew with him. Meanwhile, Jilly meets up with the bartender from Asgard, whom she asked to watch over Bew, and asks for updates, although she is disappointed with the lack of information. The bartender questions Jill’s intention and accuses her of spying on the bar, but Jilly defends herself and expresses that she has good interests in Bew. The bartender tells Jilly that Bew is assigned to work outside the bar for the evening and gives her the address for her to go to, although she can’t as she has to accompany her mother. She instead asks for the address of the shared residences of Asgard’s hosts. At the party of one of their loyal guests, Ning, Bew sits beside the other guests while Park sits and promises to stay by her side. As the night goes deeper, Bew ends up getting too drunk as the guests gang up on him to drink. The guests have a plan to make Bew drunk so they can sleep with him. Park, however, manages to avoid them and observes how the other visitors are taking advantage of Bew. He cuts the party short and brings Bew home, where the latter gets on top of him seductively. Park tries to push Bew away from him, but the latter surprises him with a kiss. While he initially resists Bew, Park gets swayed and kisses him back. Bew confesses that he likes Park before attacking his lips again. Park takes the lead upon hearing the confession, and the two end up having sex.

Foam had a dream of another encounter with Chris when they were still children. Chris’ sister gave the young Foam a watch as a reward for helping them find her brother. The young Chris tells the young Foam that time only moves forward because lives have a beginning and an end. He also tells him that one should do what he wants, as time waits for no one. Back to the present, Chris continues to take care of Foam until the following day. Chris also tells Foam that Park went on an outside VIP job to replace him and brought Bew along. Foam becomes more interested in the VIP area and VIP guests, but Chris tells him that he’s not ready yet. The two decide to visit Park in the next room to check up on him, and they notice that Park seems to be too tired. Meanwhile, Park tries to hide the sleeping Bew from the two; however, Chris seems to notice something amiss about him and thinks that he saw Bew in Park’s bed. Meanwhile, Foam tells Chris to stop worrying about Park’s or others’ business too much, as he also has a lot on his plate, although Chris seems to be clueless.

Writer’s Thoughts:

The relationship between Chris and Foam appears to be more complex than we initially believed. Chris’ warnings seem warranted as we begin to see glimpses of the VIP area’s potential shadiness and the people who may be there. The evolution of Park and Bew’s relationship, however, maybe the episode’s high point, even though viewers may find it hard to watch the intimate moment when Bew is deemed to be intoxicated. More secrets and revelations seem to be waiting for Foam in “Time: The Series” as he becomes more involved with the people from the past, so tune in to find out!
