Episode 3
Following their shopping trip, Chris asks Foam again why he seems to know what he likes and doesn’t like about his personal belongings. Although Chris doesn’t seem to buy it, Foam tries to keep up his lie that he is simply perceptive and that he is too easy to read. In the meantime, Park introduces Bew as the person who caused the damage the previous evening when he brings him to Asgard. Piak tells Bew that his mother has already covered the damages when he expresses his intention to cover them. Before Piak can say anything more about the arrangement with Sorry, Bew pulls him away to a private space and asks to work for her. Although hesitant to agree, Piak ends up saying yes after Bew offers not to take any salary for the job, just so he can have fun in the meantime. To Park’s chagrin, Piak gives him the task of showing Bew around and sharing his room. On the other hand, even though they are both newbies, Foam tries to get to know Bew and the two get along well. Bew informs Foam that Chris seems like a secretive person and that he’s shocked that he can share a room with him as they discuss their impressions of one another. To his surprise, Foam responds that Bew would be better off getting along with Park and that Chris is not a difficult person to get along with. Bew declares with confidence that he can manage well as he enjoys having fun with ill-tempered individuals.
Jilly arrives outside Asgard and one of Piak’s female bartenders stops her entry because she is still a minor. Jilly succeeds in getting the bartender to agree to serve as her eyes and ears inside Asgard in return for payment. Going back to Asgard, Foam observes that some of the hosts are not friendly with Chris and tries to step in when they pose a threat to him. Chris, on the other hand, tells him to ignore them and assures him that one day he will realize why. Additionally, he lets Foam know that he will be spending the night in the VIP area and reminds him that he is not free to go whenever he pleases. Chris simply informs Foam that the VIPs are very particular because of potential private conversations they may be having. Foam grows increasingly interested in what is going on in the VIP area. Chris informs him that a host is only permitted to be in the VIP area after at least three months or whenever Piak deems it appropriate for them to serve there. That evening, all the hosts participate in a runway in the common area before the selected one goes to the VIP area. Piak and the bartenders, including the one with whom Jilly made a deal, wager on how long Foam and Bew will stay in Asgard as they begin to prowl the common area and flirt with patrons in an attempt to get them to drink more. Piak declares that Foam and Bew will quickly become Asgard’s new stars. Later, while Foam is relaxing at the bar counter, he asks the bartenders what might happen if he sneaks into the VIP area. They promptly tell him that it will not go well and hosts who enter the VIP area without Piak’s authorization either lose their jobs or vanish, particularly if they discover any of the VIPs’ top secrets. Foam is assigned to a stunning middle-aged woman named Tina who at first, is hesitant to accept him, but then she learns that Foam would be serving her as his first client. Tina finds Foam endearing and grows fond of him; she even pays a substantial sum of money to have him stay with her so they can drink. Park is also occupied with a young woman whom he encourages to have the cosmetic procedure she has been wanting. Bew, on the other hand, is paired with a brokenhearted woman and needs his consoling words all night long. Foam is taken aback when he sees Boo and Pareenawee being brought to the VIP area upon their arrival at Asgard. Thien, his co-actor from the present, who has expressed interest in him, is the son of Pareenawee. Wearing a face mask, Foam sneaks into the VIP room, where Boo and Pareenawee are sitting while bringing the round of drinks. Pareenawee expresses the intention to invest money in the entertainment business through Boo, as she wants her son, Thien, to be an actor while he is also preparing to be a doctor. Boo excitedly promises to bring Pareenawee’s money and son to a milestone. Thien arrives and gets introduced to Boo, who tries to greet him warmly. Thien, however, turns out to be arrogant and questions Boo’s credentials. He also steals the host who is currently serving his mother for himself. Foam wonders how Boo and Pareenawee had beef with each other in the present when they used to be friends way back.
