GL fans, heads up! Another Thai sapphic novel will be having its live adaptation this year.
SixTeenSeven’s sapphic novel ‘Petrichor หยดฝนกลิ่นสนิม’, also known as “Rust in the Rain”, is reportedly having its live adaptation, which was produced by TV Thunder, known for their Thai BL ‘Manner of Death’ and ‘Triage’, in collaboration with Miss Grand Thailand. The drama will feature ‘Show Me Love The Series’ actors and real-life beauty queens Engfa Waraha and Charlotte Austin as Lieutenant Colonel Tulay, whose names mean Libra, and Dr. Cheran, respectively.

The live broadcast reveals that the production’s filming is planned to start in June and will be directed by Pannares Ruchirananta (Poy). The drama consists of 10 episodes with 25–30 schedule queues, which takes a month to complete and is expected to be released in the fourth quarter, from October to November. Lastly, it will be streaming for free, while its uncut episodes may require a subscription fee.
