A Mistaken Identity Leads To Danger in ‘Twins’ Episode 1

What happens if romance is sparked through your mission? ‘Twins‘ is a sports-themed boys-love series with a twist of mistaken identity, about brothers who don’t want to be with one another but want to beat one another to the top spot.

‘Twins: The Series‘ is a twelve-episode TV series depicting the story of identical twins named Zee and Sprite who shine in their respective fields. One is a talented volleyball player, and the other is a first-rate Jiu-Jitsu competitor. However, an accident forces Sprite to pretend to be his brother. Does he have what it takes to fool everyone without getting caught?

Episode 1.

Zee and Sprite participate in tryouts for their respective sports at the beginning of the series. Zee was selected for the volleyball team. Sprite watches the vlog that Zee’s followers recorded live. They expressed their support for his inclusion in the squad, and throughout the interview, Zee expressed gratitude to them for their persistent support. Observing his identical brother’s discomfort on video, Sprite smiles. When his friend noticed him observing in the changing area, he complimented him on his athletic abilities. In the lobby, Sprite spotted two of his teammates. Because he is a greater athlete than they are, they despise him. They attempted to beat him up, but he beat them back.

The discipline committee called Sprite to conduct disciplinary action. He denied initiating the fight, but according to sources, some witnesses are sure that he punched the other guys first. He attempted to argue against them, but the committee had already made up their minds. His father discussed what had happened to him. He reminds him that he must follow the athlete’s rule. His father abruptly states that he shouldn’t have raised him as the argument gets heated. He said something that irritated Sprite, so she told his father that Zed should have been raised by him. However, as their mother doesn’t want him, the latter is forced to look after him.

Meanwhile, the volleyball team starts their practice for the qualifier test, and their coach draws who will be roommates. Everyone now has a partner, while Zed requested to have his own room. He says that, as an ace of the team, he can request to have his own room. But the rooms are full, so he has to sleep first. When he hears that, he says that he’ll just sleep with their coach instead. Salmon, one of the team staff, apologizes to First on behalf of Zed, but the latter says he doesn’t need an apology on his behalf. All the boys went to their respective rooms and unpacked their teams. After unpacking, they started to practice. While training, some of his teammates talk about Zed; they say he’s arrogant and thinks highly of himself.

Sam told First that he wanted to train with Zee when he saw him practicing alone, but the latter refused and said it was just a waste of time. The jiu-jitsu team was also having its training, and their coach noticed that Sprite didn’t come that day, so he asked Than where his friend was, but he said he didn’t know either. After training, his teammate told Than that it was the first time Sprite skipped training, so he said he would try to talk to him. Zee still prefers to train alone, so when the ball rolls over near Sam, he picks it up and gives it to him, but Zee just gives him a stare and gets a new ball. Their teammates saw what happened, so they just teased Sam to stop the humiliation he experienced.

The volleyball team took a break from training, and Zee got upset when his teammates disorganized the bottled water. To anticipate the argument, Sam arranged the bottles, and his teammates once again teased him. Zee got irritated at how unserious his teammates are, but little did he know, his seriousness made them irritated too, so they told him to smile and loosen up. The boys practiced together, and Zed was still left alone as they continued training. They were practicing jumping higher than the net when the ball Zed spiked landed on First’s face. He fell, and his teammates got worried. He confronted Zed after he came back to his senses, but the latter didn’t apologize, claiming it wasn’t intentional.

Sprite went back to the university and tried to practice jiu-jitsu again, but he held back. Then saw him and told him that their coach kept on asking him why he was not coming to their training, and he said that it made him angry whenever he came to practice and saw Tong. At the cafeteria. The volleyball team was having lunch together when Sam saw Zee eating alone. He first stops him when he tries to approach Zee, and the rest are having fun eating their lunch. Their loud noise makes Zee irritated, so he confronts them and says that their loud voices disturb other people in the cafeteria. Ko gets annoyed by what he says, and their teammates stop him from picking a fight. Ko told him to stop being overconfident, as overconfident people will not succeed. He also advised him not to make a mistake because people were waiting to aggravate him.

Zee is approached by Salmon, who asks that he start being polite to his teammates. Their coach has also observed that Zee makes the other players feel uncomfortable. She also feels that teamwork is necessary for volleyball. Salmon used a silly face to make Zee grin when he didn’t respond to her. Zed finally smiles, which makes it effective. He claims that the reason he smiled was because she said so. The boys were having a good time in the locker room when Zee burst in. When Sam asked him if he wanted to go out to dinner, he replied that he had other plans. Sam’s teammates sensed his sadness and comforted him.

When Zee and First finally had a face-to-face encounter in the corridor, their resentment for one another arose. And when Sprite returned to training, he saw his father. To prevent issues down the road, his father advised him to follow the club’s rules. They had no idea that Tong was recording their camera talk. When he asks about Tong and Boy afterward, his father replies that both of them would face consequences. Zee gave Salmon a call and invited her to dinner. Also, Sprite called Than to arrange an appointment for dinner. The twins showed up at the same restaurant. Zee discovered Sprite’s wallet when he dropped it.

Tong hired a couple of hitmen, but they are twins, so they are having trouble identifying them. Sprite ran into First, who mistook him for Zee, which made him feel uncomfortable. On the contrary, when Zee was inspecting the wallet he noticed lying on the ground, a group of men approached him and struck him. They battered him so hard that he was left bleeding severely. A little later, Sprite was searching the ground for his wallet when he noticed a man lying there and was shocked to see Zee.

Despite having the same face, the twins are not the same individuals. One is a serious competitor who aspires to win at all costs, and the other is an excellent athlete who is frequently in hot water due to his short temper.
