The new Taiwanese movie with BL vibes ‘A Balloon’s Landing’ has just dropped a cute behind-the-scene reel featuring its lead actors, Fandy Fan and Terrence Lau.
On April 7, Sunday, its official Instagram account posted a funny BTS video, treating fans to more cute moments between its two lead actors.
The video shows Fandy and Terrence goofing around on the set and exhibiting a hilarious cat-and-dog dynamic for their characters Tian Yu and Xiang.

An official synopsis of the film reads, “A Balloon’s Landing tells the story of a frustrated Hong Kong writer, Tian Yu (Terrance Lau) meets a Taipei street gangster, Xiang (Fandy Fan) and the two of them embark on a journey to find the Bay of Whales, a place that leads to paradise. Along the way, they discover unexpected twists and turns and close bonds, which brings out the message that there is always someone like you in this world who is waiting for you.”
Joining Fan and Lau in the cast are Chan Tzu Hsuan and Allison Lin.
‘A Balloon’s Landing’ is directed by Los Angeles-based Taiwanese filmmaker Angel Teng who directed the first season of the GagaOOLala GL ‘Fragrance of the First Flower.’
Fans are still patiently waiting for Fandy Fan’s comeback to the BL world and while the film has not been stated to be queer, let us all hope that the people in charge will confirm it soon.
‘A Balloon’s Landing’ is gearing up to premiere in Taiwan on May 10.
