The newest Taiwanese BL ‘Unknown’ kicks off with a promising start with its first episode, offering viewers a refreshing take on the BL genre!
‘Unknown The Series’ is a twelve-episode web drama based on the novel “Big Brother” by the renowned author Priest, known for her works that were adapted into drama as well, ‘Guardian’, and ‘Word of Honor’. The drama stars Chris Chiu, Xuan Huang, Tammy Lin, and Kim Ji Hoon and is helmed by director Ray Jiang and screenwriter Cai Fei Qiao, depicting the forbidden love story between Wei Qian and Wei Xiaoyuan.
In the first episode, the Wei family welcomes a new member of their family named Wei Xiaoyuan. Since a young age, Wei Qian has shouldered the responsibility of being the family’s sole provider following the loss of his parents. He’s dedicated himself to caring for his younger sister, Lili, and now, with the addition of Yuan, his familial obligations grow even further.
