The Taiwanese short ‘Kiss‘ is now streaming on GagaOOLala!

‘Kiss‘ is a twelve-minute-long short film that was released in 2021. It is an official selection in the 2021 Kaohsiung Film Festival, the 2022 Melbourne Queer Film Festival, the 2022 InDPanda International Film Festival, the 2022 Seattle Queer Film Festival, the 2022 Frameline Film Festival, and the 2023 Toronto Queer Film Festival. The short stars Ko Yuan Wang and Jing Yan Lin and is directed by Wang Ko Yuan from “Gentlemen Spa”, which explores sites of pleasure, and “Looking For?”.

In the aftermath of never-ending disasters and epidemics, fewer and fewer people are still surviving. They said the apocalypse has come. K walks alone in the long-abandoned gay sauna. Human-body contact has become an anecdote of the last century. The decadent and damp smell permeates, and only an old tree seems to have taken root here, stretching its withered branch, seemingly longing for something.
