“Gaze in Silence” Will Be Having its International Release on GagaOOLala!

Taiwanese short film “Gaze in Silence” will be having its international release on Taiwan-based LGBT streaming platform, GagaOOLala on May 10th!

“Gaze in Silence” is a 14-minute Taiwanese short film, starring Tien Chiu, Darryl Yip, Shu Han Lin, and Tony Tang, which was released last year in May. With Shu Han Lin’s revealing performance, the actor was nominated for Best Newcomer at the Golden Bell Awards. It also won the 2022 Merced Queer Film Festival (Nominee Best Student Film), the 2022 Indian Tagore International Film Festival (Best LGBT Film in May 2022), Singapore World Film Carnival (Outstanding Contribution Award for Best Sound Design in May 2022), The Paus Premieres Festival (selected), 2022 Hong Kong InDPanda International Film Festival (screening), and shortlisted for the best student short film of the 2022 Internacional Queer Film Festival Playa del Carmen.

Official Synopsis: Yan Xin is an ordinary white-collar worker who prefers to have sexual relationships with different guys. Yun Fei is a stalker, for whom pursuing, taking pictures, and prying into others’ private lives is his biggest hobby. One day, Yun Fei becomes curious about Yan Xin and starts to follow him. During an encounter, Yan Xin meets a pervert and his physical safety gets threatened. After witnessing the encounter, what will Yun Fei do?
