‘The New Employee: The Movie’ official trailer is here!

Following its theatrical release date, the production just released the ‘The New Employee’ movie trailer — with a surprise! ‘The New Employee: The Movie’ is one of the new Korean films screened at the 24th Jeonju International Film Festival last month. It stars model-turned-actor Kwon Hyuk and Moon Ji Yong from Idol Romance’s “Once Again” and is directed by Kim Jhi Kwang Soo, who directed Queer and Gay Shorts and Movies: “Boy Meets Boy (2008)”, “Just Friend? (2009)”, “Love 100°C (2010)”, “One Night Only (2014)”, and “Made on the Rooftop (2021)”.

Today (July 6), Rainbow Studio finally unveiled the 90-second trailer on their social media accounts. The video below shows a scene that shook fans, as the movie will spice up the story with unreleased footage of Jongchan and Seunghyun’s bed scene, which is not shown in the seven-episode web series.

On the first day of his internship, the bright-eyed and bushy-tailed Seunghyun (Moon Ji Yong) meets the workaholic manager Jongchan (Kwon Hyuk). Seunghyun immediately falls in love with the handsome and perfect Jongchan at first sight. Seunghyun tries his best, but it’s his first time interning at a company and dating — at the same time! Will things eventually go as planned? Or will chaos ensue?

‘The New Employee: The Movie’ premieres on August 3 at a local cinema in South Korea. For international fans, it will be streaming soon in selected regions on Rakuten Viki.
