Heads up! The newest Korean sapphic web drama ‘Lonely Girl’ is now streaming!
SUKFILM’s ‘Lonely Girl’, formerly known as ‘Confessions of a Studio Apartment’, marks the first-ever Girl’s Love in their production, which consists of four episodes and stars Yang Ga Eun and Park So Yoo as Mina and Jieun, respectively.
The first episode unfolds with Jieun meeting Mina, whom she knew on a dating app and who fills her heart in a way that her friends couldn’t. Mina invites Jieun over for a home movie night instead of hitting the theater. As they settle in with drinks, a power outage casts the room into darkness, leaving only a candle’s glow.
In the intimate ambiance, Jieun broaches the topic of same-sex relationships, prompting a candid discussion with Mina. Encouraged by Mina’s open-mindedness, Jieun takes a leap, confessing her own feelings. Just as the power returns, their exchange culminates in a heartfelt kiss.
With newfound clarity, Jieun boldly asks Mina to be her girlfriend, setting the stage for a burgeoning romance as their intimate connection deepens.
