Ryotaro Akazawa and Kensune Takahashi’s ‘Let’s Eat Together Aki and Haru’ official trailer has been released on YouTube.
Based on Makato Taji’s BL comics, ‘Let’s Eat Together Aki and Haru’ depicts the heartwarming daily routine of college students Aki and Haru, who share a room in a detached house, cooking and eating together. Aki (played by Ryotaro Akazawa), is in charge of cooking, while Haru (played by Kensune Takahashi) is in charge of tidying up.

At the beginning of the trailer, Haru, who stuffed his mouth with a large piece of fried chicken, exclaims, “Umai! (a casual way of saying ‘delicious’)”. Then showcasing Aki’s different dishes he made, including tomato salt ramen, croquettes and cheese hot sandwiches, soy milk ramen hot pot, and dumpling cheese dak galbi. And the later part shows Haru worrying about being recommended to study abroad in England, and Aki’s anxiety growing at the premonition that Haru’s peaceful life together will end.
OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS: University students Aki and Haru live together in a house. They had different personalities and each had their own worries, but they had something in common that made them feel better when they ate. Aki cooks the food, Haru takes care of the cleanup, and the two spend a peaceful day around the delicious dining table.
The movie ‘Let’s Eat Together Aki and Haru’ will be released for a limited period of two weeks from June 2nd at Cinemart Shinjuku and other local cinemas in Tokyo.
