“Let’s Eat Together Aki and Haru” Sets to Premiere on June 2nd; Announces Additional Cast

Makato Taji’s ‘Let’s Eat Together Aki and Haru’ unveiled its official poster and seven additional casts has been announced.

The promotional poster shows the lead actors munching on sandwiches made by Aki. It also includes a catchphrase: “Eating together makes us happy”, as well as the stuffed animal, ‘Chief Penguin’ which appears in the manga. The actors who will join the rest of the cast are: Ryuga Akahane (from Kiss x Kiss x Kiss: Perfect Scandal and Melting Night), Yuki Sakurai, Takeuchi Seina, HKT48’s Tanaka Yuka, Aoyama Hikaru, Takasi Nagayama, and Rei Shibata.

“Let’s Eat Together Aki and Haru” is an upcoming movie adaptation based on Makato Taji’s gourmet BL manga of the same name about two college students who share a room together, Aki (played by Ryotaro Akazawa) and Haru (played by Kensune Takahashi). Since the two were close, people called them “Zero Distance”. Aki is good at cooking and works hard to make delicious rice for Haru.

The movie is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on June 2nd.
