The series opened with Ritsu and Fumiya fighting the night before Ritsu’s birthday. As they continue fighting, Fumiya says that if they continue living like that, it will only be hard for both of them. Fumiya confessed to him that he couldn’t be with him anymore, so the latter cried, grabbed his jacket, and walked away. The next day, Fumiya woke up, but Ritsu was still not home. He finds his phone on the table, and a moment later, he receives a call from Ritsu’s brother. He told him that Ritsu had an accident, but he didn’t have anything with him, so they didn’t know who he was.
When Fumiya arrived at the hospital, Ritsu just woke up, but the doctor said he had a mild concussion, and it may take some time for him to be his usual self. While walking home, Fumiya noticed that his boyfriend was acting a little bit strange. Ritsu almost collapsed when they got home, but Fumiya immediately caught him. When they entered their house, things were like new for Ritsu. While he was taking a bath, he remembered seeing his brother at the hospital and Fumiya telling the doctor that he was his roommate.
After showering, Ritsu told Fumiya that he couldn’t lift his arms. The latter gave him an ice pack and helped him towel-dry his hair. Ritsu suddenly asks him why he was so kind to him since they were just roommates, and the latter says he’s just helping him because he was injured. Ritsu was confused when he realized that they were sleeping in the same bed, so Fumiya decided to sleep on the couch. The next day, Fumiya was already cooking breakfast when Ritsu woke up. While they were eating, Ritsu complimented his cooking skills, which surprised Fumiya.
Fumiya asks him to have coffee with him at their favorite cafe. They met their neighbor outside their house, and the woman gave Ritsu a beanie. While walking to the cafe, they saw a bunch of kids drawing on the street, and when Ritsu joined them, Fumiya thought that he was going back to his old self again. At the cafe, the waitress showed them a magazine with Ritsu’s drawing in it. Fukiya tried to talk to him about what happened the night of his birthday, but Ritsu just continued drawing him.
When they tried to order, Fumiya was surprised that Ritsu didn’t remember his favorite food. He then wonders why he doesn’t remember some things, so he decides to ask him things and list down what he does and doesn’t remember. When he saw that he didn’t remember their neighbor and his favorite food, Fumiya suddenly realized that Ritsu had forgotten things related to him. A moment later, he asks him if he does remember him, and Ritsu looks him in the eye and says that when he told the doctor he was his roommate, he thought he would remember him, but unfortunately, he doesn’t remember him at all.
