The beginning of the story of Himari and Yori is because of love at first sight in the first episode of ‘Whisper Me a Love Song’.

Kino Himari is now a high school student. At the freshman welcome party she attended, invited by her childhood friend and elementary school classmate Mizuguchi Miki, Himari was captivated by the performance of the band “SSGIRLS” and developed an admiration for the band’s vocalist, Asanagi Yori. Himari, who met Yori in the school building, conveyed her feelings to her directly, but with the straightforward girl who expressed her feelings, Yori ended up developing a romantic interest called “love at first sight”.

SYNOPSIS: Bubbly, energetic first-year high school student Himari falls head over heels for her senpai Yori after hearing her band perform on the first day of school. Himari tells Yori she just loves her, and, to Himari’s surprise, Yori says she loves Himari back! But when Himari realizes that she and her senpai are feeling two different kinds of love, she begins to ask herself what “love” really means.

‘Whisper Me A Love Song’ premieres on Sunday, April 14th at 12:30 AM GMT+8 in Japan and will be broadcast on TV Asahi, BS Asahi, and AT-X. It will also be available for free on Abema’s official YouTube account every Monday in the Japan region.
