Argentinian film ‘Since The Last Time We Met’ has announced that it is gearing up for a limited theatrical release.
The film also simultaneously released an official trailer, featuring its lead stars, Patricio Arellano and Esteban Recagno.
The trailer follows former lovers, Victor and David, who suddenly reunite when they unexpectedly become neighbors. The catch, though, is David is now tied to another woman. What happens when an old flame reignites?
‘Since The Last Time We Met’ premiered in April last year in Miami, Florida at the OUTshine LGBTQ+ film festival and has been picked up by Dark Star Pictures, officially getting a proper release on April 5 in select cinemas. It is slated to premiere on digital VOD platforms on April 9.
An official synopsis of the film reads, “Victor is reunited by chance with David, his first love, fifteen years after they last saw each other. This reunion revives the love they had from their youth. Victor finds himself passionately with David – now married to a woman – in those moments when David can sneak away from his parallel life. Victor struggles with his own feelings knowing that every time they meet might be the last one.”
Matías De Leis Correa served as the director and writer for the film.
The movie received 8 nominations through different film festivals including Best Feature Film noms for the Roze Filmdagen Amsterdam (Pink Filmdays Amsterdam) LGBT Film Festival and The Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival, and Festheart: LGBT+ Film Festival Estonia.
