Argentinian film ‘Horseplay’ will soon be hitting US theaters on June 2, followed by DVD and digital platforms on June 13, but what is the buzz about this dark comedy?
Well, for one, it’s a political and social commentary. Second, it’s uncomfortable — purposely uncomfortable.
‘Horseplay’ tells the story of a group of young and mostly (yep, mostly) straight men who stay in a secluded villa in the countryside for a get-together and vacation. They play around, prank each other, and have lighthearted fun, although, as Attitude describes, there is “an underlying sense that things will go awry.”
