Danmei Novel ‘Global Examination’ Rumored To Have A Drama Adaptation

On March 27, 一口大屁桃桃, an account from Weibo, posted that this danmei novel will have a drama adaptation.

The post revealed that ‘Global Examination’, also known as “Global University Entrance Examination” or “Quan Qiu Gao Kao,” is getting a Netflix adaptation, along with rumored actors Tseng Jing Hua from the top-going Taiwanese LGBTQ movie ‘Your Name Engraved Herein’ and Lin Yi, who gained popularity from his hit Chinese drama ‘Put Your Head on My Shoulder’.

This announcement quickly gained traction on X, formerly known as Twitter, sparking anticipation for the rumored project. However, a user pointed out that Lin Yi’s fan group claimed the actor would not be participating in the drama.

Based on a danmei novel written by Mu Su Li on JJWXC with 166 chapters, the drama follows One day, You Huo and his family were pulled into an exam called the Global University Entrance Examination. Going through exams together with other unfortunate examinees, their lives are put at stake and they can only live by passing each exam. However, something about these exams and the system controlling them didn’t seem right — it seemed to be trying to trap the examinees with ridiculous rules and strange questions… There, You Huo meets lnvigilator 001 who seems to hold a key to the past he no longer remembers and together they destroy the exam.
