LOOK: Ji Ho Geun, Jin Kwon To Star in the Upcoming School Romance ‘Jazz For Two’

From the same producer of ‘A Shoulder To Cry On’, MODT Studio announces the cast of their upcoming Korean Boys’ Love (BL) web drama ‘Jazz For Two’.

‘Jazz For Two’ is an upcoming eight-episode school romance depicting the story of high school students struggling with their agonies and pressures, finding and growing themselves through love and music. The drama features rookie actor Ji Ho Geun and Jin Kwon, the leader of the South Korean idol boy group NewKidd and best known for his role in ‘To My Star’, alongside OMEGA X’s Hangyeom and Kim Jeong Hwan. It is based on the webtoon of the same name by writer Clarju and is directed by Song Soo Lim of ‘A Shoulder To Cry On‘, which is available to stream on GagaOOLala.

Ji Ho Geun plays the role of ‘Han Taeyi,’ who is endowed with exceptional talent and embodies demeanor, maintaining a cool facade with an inscrutable expression, while Jin Kwon plays ‘Yoon Seheon,’ a transfer student from Wuyeon High School, who overcomes his complex toward his father and older brother through jazz and experiences a swift of emotion upon meeting Taeyi. Han Gyeom portrays Seo Doyoon, a drum prodigy. He is a character who keeps secrets behind his optimistic smile. Kim Jeong Hwan takes on the role of guitarist Song Juha, expected to exude a fresh charm.

SYNOPSIS from Lezhin: Taeyi hears a familiar melody fill the empty halls and makes his way to the old music room. He knows his brother is dead, but he can’t help but hope, maybe, just maybe…it’s his brother playing his favorite song. When he slams open the door, however, he finds Seheon, the new transfer student, at the piano. Disappointment comes crashing down and Taeyi can’t control his anger. How dare Seheon play his brother’s song? How dare he smile? How dare he say he loves jazz? “If I ever catch you playing the piano again…that’ll be the end of you.” And with that begins Taeyi and Seheon’s story, as unpredictable and visceral as jazz.

‘Jazz for Two’ is planned to be released in March. Stay tuned to BLtai for more updates!
