Mature-Themed Webtoon ‘About Desire’ Gets Live Adaptation

Following ‘Jazz for Two’ and ‘My Bias is Showing’, MODT Studio revealed on their website their next BL project this year!

‘About Desire’, also known as ‘All About Lust’, is an upcoming Korean BL web drama that is based on Gong Long Kim’s completed mature-themed webtoon of the same name. Director Wang Hye Ryung and writers Kim Sa Ra and Lee Eun Joo will take charge of the drama, which is planned to be released in the second half of 2024.

The webtoon depicts an innocent and naive art student, Wooseung, who has never dated anyone before. But he’s head over heels for his first love, the handsome upperclassman Sunjin. Wooseung dreams of confessing his feelings, holding hands, giving sweet kisses, etc. and he’s delighted when Sunjin says the attraction is mutual! Just one major problem: Sunjin’s idea of a relationship is much more hands-on! Can Wooseung handle all the steamy surprises Sunjin has planned for them?

On the other hand, the production also revealed on the website that their upcoming web drama ‘Jazz for Two’ is scheduled to be released in April, and expect the production to reveal the lead actors within the following months. The drama is based on Clarju’s webtoon of the same name, depicting Taeyi hearing a familiar melody in the old music room and hoping his brother, who is dead, is playing his favorite song. However, he finds Seheon, a new transfer student, playing the piano. Taeyi is angry and dissatisfied, fearing Seheon’s end if he plays the piano again. And with that begins Taeyi and Seheon’s story, as unpredictable and visceral as jazz.
