Shun Yu joyfully serves Shang Zhou the food he prepared for him at the workplace after receiving the order to make his breakfast. With a blank face at first, Shang Zhou eats the food and nods in approval, making Shun Yu happy. He then offers Shang Zhou another seat of bread toast with jam, thinking that he may eat it all day as a snack. Although Shun Yu tries to convince Shang Zhou that drinking coffee before a meal is unhealthy for the stomach, the latter nonetheless complies when Shang Zhou tells him to make him a cup. While Shun Yu prepares the coffee, Shang Zhou eagerly consumes the toast behind his back before acting as though he has not yet tasted the bread toast and jam. Shun Yu does, however, notice the jam’s traces at the corner of his lips and point them out. To cover his embarrassment, Shang Zhou questions Shun Yu why he made him kid-sized snacks, making the latter worried that he offended him once again. Shang Zhou is about to stop Shun Yu from leaving with the bread toasts when he receives a call from his mother. He became irritable and took it out on Shun Yu.
After getting scolded by Shang Zhou, Shun Yu complains to the other secretaries, and although they try to comfort him, they are also grateful that he’s the one being traumatized by the President instead of them. Noticing that Shang Zhou seemed to be in a good mood earlier that day, Lisa asked Shun Yu what happened after he had given him breakfast. Shun Yu explains that Shang Zhou’s mood seems to have changed after he received a call from his mother. Lisa and the rest of the secretaries immediately realize what has transpired and explain that the call means Shang Zhou will have to go on a blind date. Shun Yu offers to look up and make reservations at a restaurant for the blind date, reasoning that a good secretary must be able to assist the president with his dating needs. He’s shocked when the secretaries tell him he must ruin it instead. Sofia, who has already done it three times, officially passes him the task. Shun Yu tries to decline but is unable to do so due to peer pressure. Lisa presents Shun Yu to Shang Zhou and discusses the plan to sabotage the date on which he will act as his lover in front of the blind date and drop a box of condoms to suggest intimacy between them.
