Filipino queer superstar and icon Vice Ganda just dropped a heart-wrenching teaser for his new comedy film ‘And The Breadwinner Is…’
On October 22, Tuesday, Star Cinema, the production company for the film, released the moving and touching trailer, much to the delight of his little ponies.
Albeit a comedy film, the trailer is much more dramatic and angsty, which is a complete departure from Vice’s previous film releases.
The trailer follows Bambi Salvador (Vice), a hardworking queer overseas Filipino worker in Taiwan who goes back to the Philippines only to be greeted by a rude awakening: the home she has been funding for years to be renovated is still not finished. This leads to a huge fight between her and her family members with Bambi feeling like a loser despite being a breadwinner.
