Bloody hell, it’s bloody dramatic!

‘Interview With The Vampire’ has revealed a new and extended trailer for its second season.

Anne Rice’s Immortal Universe uploaded a new trailer for the upcoming season of the hit vampire series ‘Interview With The Vampire’ on March 20, Wednesday, with the caption ”Feast your eyes on this special extended look at Season 2.”

In the three-minute trailer, Louis (Jacob Anderson) and Claudia (Delainey Hayles, who replaced Bailey Bass) have migrated to Paris to escape all the drama of New Orleans. However, drama always finds its way to the two and they end up getting caught up in the antics of the deadly group called Theatre Des Vampires which is basically the old-school version of Glee except they don’t die. (We’re totally kidding. Or are we?)

AMC’s synopsis for season two reads, “In the year 2022, the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Anderson) recounts his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian). Picking up from the bloody events in New Orleans in 1940 when Louis and teen fledgling Claudia (Hayles) conspired to kill the Vampire Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), Louis tells of his adventures in Europe, a quest to discover Old World Vampires and the Theatre Des Vampires in Paris, with Claudia. It is in Paris that Louis first meets the Vampire Armand (Assad Zaman). Their courtship and love affair will prove to have devastating consequences both in the past and in the future, and Molloy will probe to get to the truths buried within the memories.”

Interview with the Vampire premieres May 12 on AMC and AMC+ in the US.
